You can adjust the sort method for the Newsfeed to be either 'most important' or 'most recent'.  Selecting 'most important' will show any items set as 'priority' by the school first.

You can click the bookmark icon for a NewsFeed item to save it.  Any saved items you have can be viewed on your 'Saved' newsfeed tab.
